There is also a need for corporate & individual sponsors to give grants to Blood Source to cover the costs of registration to
the National Bone Marrow Registry. While there are grants for nearly all ethnic groups there are very few (if any) for
Caucasians. The cost per person is $52 to cover the cost of tissue typing. Grants are tax deductible. If you are interested

SPREAD THE WORD
The fact is that there are soldiers who are suffering from chromosome aberrations, leukemia and other forms of
cancer that are linked to radiation and chemical exposure. The fact is that (prior to chemotherapy) they had never
been exposed to radiation (as civilians). The obvious conclusion is that the radiation exposure took place during
their service in Iraq. We want the military to step up and assist these soldiers and their families. We want studies
done. We want to spread the word about the Gulf War Exam and maybe even the information about the exam a
mandatory part of soldiers returning from the Gulf's debriefing.
We have been repeatedly asked where and how these soldiers were exposed to the radiation/chemicals - the
answer is we don't know. We know that some of these soldiers served in Masul, Kirkyk, Ballad and Al Mawsil,
There have been many controversial articles about Depleted Uranium - whether or not DU was responsible we do
not know.
Controversies aside, the fact remains: our soldiers have been exposed to radiation & chemicals in levels high
enough to cause chromosome aberrations and diseases and we need to do everything in our power to help them.
